I certainly don't take it personally. I think it's just a law of human nature, as I've observed -- folks don't want to read all caps. It's considered shouting.

Your fundamental idea was a good one. In the future, to make sure you're better-heard, I'd suggest using bold for one, plain for the other; or italics; or you could even use red font.

One man's opinion, your milage may vary.

I'm relatively new to this. Is there an option for italics, bolding, etc. If so, where?

Wholeheartedly agreed. Another idea: use blockquote to set apart the part you are quoting. There are lots of ways to emphasize and set apart the things you want to distinguish that are better than all caps. JMHO.
