I've heard a Cindy supporter say that we were not attacked by Iraq on 9-11, that the London and Spanish bombings were not done by Iraqis.

I have news for the Left. The terrorists we fight in Iraq today are not Iraqis. They came flooding in from other countries.

What I don't see in this discussion is any recognition by posters that support for the war IS waning in this country - not among the extremist fringe whose voices are recorded here, apparently, but in the heartland. (Even in that part of the heartland which adheres most firmly to "slave state values".) This is a troubling development for those of us who believe in a true syphrosynistic conservative agenda. Swift-boating Cindy Sheehan isn't going turn this tide. The polls today are very troubling.
