From what I have read Bob Marley also mixed pot with tobacco about 50/50 in his monster sized joints. I think they use tobacco laced with pot or hash in most parts of the world where they smoke it other than the U.S. I know that's the way it was done when I lived in Europe in the mid 1980's.
