No doubt the parents will sue this poor woman since the scotus has waid the death penalty cannot be used on teenagers.

"My son would never break into anyone's home. He was such a good boy. He couldn't even spell 'tar arn' let alone carry one!"

Ummm... England doesn't have the death penalty.

"They word it so it makes her look like SHE came back to shoot him... Not that she happened to walk in on him and startled she probably grabbed for her gun she has... But, instead she left to get the gun and "returned to confront him"...."

Poorly worded, but then the second paragraph makes it very clear what happened. I can't imagine anybody would come away from this story thinking, "Gosh, that lady came in, found a burglar, left to locate a gun, and then came back and shot the burglar, who had conveniently waited around for her to return so he could be killed."

Let's be realistic.

He wasn't a miner, he was a burglar apprentice. ;)

Wasn't in Texas when the illegal aliens won the guy's ranch after suing him for giving them blankets, water and food??

No. It was in Texas where the illegal aliens won a lawsuit against a guy who allegedly imprisoned, threatened, and assaulted them, and then let them go. The guy somehow neglected to defend himself in court. The ranch was the only asset available to pay off the judgement.

If you're going to ride your hobby horse at every opportunity, at least get the story right.

"...she returned to her South Los Angeles home to confront a tire iron-wielding boy in her house..."

Good catch, the use of the word "boy" is interesting also.

But did she have to shoot to kill?? Why didn't she aim for the leg rather than the chest, abdomen or head? [relax everyone, only KIDDING--I took more flak for suggesting that two rangers in a national park should to wound a crazy guy rather than kill him than I took for anything else I ever said on this forum]

"she hit him twice, in the neck and above the right eye, with a .45 auto."

Good for her. She must have been a pretty good shooter not to go for the center of mass. I would have unloaded the whole clip but aim for center mass, the heart. But she did a great job.

I LOVE TEXAS
