I never did see the moral outrage from the left when their guy Bill Clinton was bombing Baghdad for four days and nights, to distract you and me and everyone else from the Monica Lewinsky fiasco.

Yeah... those were the days... when we had Sadaam and his weasels under our little thumb. God.. I wish we could go back to those days. No Fly Zones.... his army under intense scrutiny... I honestly believe that we would have been able to create a better place than we have done now... and without the tens of 1000's of innocent civilian casualties... or the loss of life of our own military.

Bush makes it clear he's had enough of the UN fudging around, and he's going to free 25 million people living under the oppressive thumb of Saddam Hussein, and Sean Penn decides he's going on a field trip of Iraq.

Oh yeah... I remember it well... but DON'T FORGET the WMD's!! Oh yeah... there ARE NONE. Do you really think that without the "imagined" threat of WMD's we would have had a hope in hell of convincing anyone (in the USA) it was worth it to go in?

Disagree. Clinton did nothing more than enable and embolden Saddam, who was busy jerking everyone at the UN around, while feeling he was omnipotent to the world's superpower nation by getting away with murder. Four days of bombing Baghdad produced zero results.

Typical leftist stooge tripe.

Yeah... about what I expected... thanks for making me feel all gooey inside.

Now what the flip would you know about my politics.

But no comments on the WMD's? Somewhat blatantly missing from your "version" of the UN thing right? Hah? Hah?

Hey I'll comment on the WMD....if you can't connect the dots to sadaam and WMD...then you neet to replace you dot connector. All people who have been in combat know that lesson one is...you never underestimate the enemy...Thank God we have a President who has a pair...and who makes decisions based on what will protect the citizens of this country.

When you're parroting the left's talking points verbatim, you're bound to be pinned down as a leftist on here. As for the WMD, if you've been paying any attention to Iraq for the last two years, you'll notice that the coalition forces have been coming across weapons caches on numerous occasions. Even the UN, in all it's feckless splendor, classified Iraqi scud missiles as WMD. Saddam's military forces were firing those even on the very day we put boots on the ground in Iraq.

Are you completely out of your mind? What kind of "better place" are you talking about? More efficient torture prisons? Bigger mass graves? More billions to Saddam under the oil-for-food scam? Total and irreversable destruction of the Iraq marshlands? Another half-century under the rule of Uday or Qusay?

Aren't you even going to throw in the standard "Of course Saddam was a bad person and I'm glad he's gone" comment which is so popular with you appeasers?

Thanks for your video and support for the democratic movement in Iran.

If the msm would devote 1/2 the amount of time to the freedom movement in Iran as it does to Sheehan, the Iranian people would topple the regime in months.

This guy Sean Penn. His grammer drives me. Drives me crazy it does. Did anyone see a comma? I did not. I was prepared to take a baton to myself.

I bet there are a lot of liberals who think he is a great writer. He is not. My 6 year old daughter has more complicated sentence structure. Not to mention a better variety of punctuation. It is hard to read him. Very hard.

Does anyone else think so? I hope someone agrees with me.

Yeah yeah... you are forgetting that the VAST MAJORITY of that stuff was happening years ago prior to the war (at least in terms of the number of atrocities. Yes... I would agree all that stuff is truly heinous. Nothing I have said would give any sane person a belief that I am a supported of that type of action. I know it helps you feel better by pretending I do feel that way - but sorry mate.

My point is... we had Saddam where we wanted him. Things were not perfect by any means... but I do believe we could have got to a better place FROM THERE with far less innocent blood on our hands that we have achieved now. Not to mention the issues we have now created where Iraq is now a full fledged breading ground for terrorists (far more than was ever happening prior to the war)

Aren't you even going to throw in the standard "Of course Saddam was a bad person and I'm glad he's gone" comment which is so popular with you appeasers? I'm not an appeaser. Keep up with your delusions if you like (I'm sure nothing I say will change YOUR opinion). Yes... one big positive is that we (and the Iraqis) now have Saddam rotting (sort of) in Jail. That his bloodthirsty Sons are dead. AM I allowed to say that? Can't I say that and yet still believe there would have been a better way to get there?

I'm just a believer in the truth there are always choices you can make. I believe in this case (Iraq) we made a bad choice. We need to choose better next time. That next time... is IRAN. Don't confuse the two issues. Iran is NOT Iraq. Do your own homework guys.... don't just rely on what you are fed from the media.

Is that too much to ask?

Hey... our government can't connect the dots to WMD's? If you can... you should call them up right now and let them know. I absolutely do not connect what you said with proof they had the WMD's as we were fed by Bush. Scud missiles were one thing we absolutely 100% knew they had (remember... those things were being lobbed around a few years before?). So no... when WMD's are mentioned (by me... by anyone else who is talking "objectively" about this stuff) you really must know the difference. Don't you?
