Until a suitcase nuke in a major city or a missile is launched from a freighter 1500 to 1600 miles offshore at the continental US?

And exactly whose intelligence will you expect the American people will believe when this sort of suggestion is made officially by the US Government?

I tell you... THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN.

The Iranians (even the Mullahs) are not THAT DUMB.

Currently what goes on is the USA declares Iran "Axis of Evil". Iran says "Death to America". Seems fair to me. And no... I do not mean America deserves to "Die"... i simply say that from a political "grandstanding" point of view... we are getting as good as we are giving.

BUT - remember this - the VAST VAST majority of Iranians are thoroughly embarrassed and are against the "Death to America" rhetoric. They want nothing of it. And.. despite what you may think... a great number of Iranians - while they may be "Muslim"... practice a very personal approach to their beliefs... and many do not even go to their Mosques.

And in case you are wondering... no I am not a "peacenic". I believe now we have been suckered into Iraq... we have GOT to stick it out and leave the place is some semblance of "stability". I also believe there are times when extreme measures/bombings ARE NECESSARY (Afghanistan for instance).
