Here are a couple of example (to keep you going)
Every country he visits we attack........so far he is one for one. (post #8 by CROSSHIGHWAYMAN)
and
"Wait - he was in Iraq, and then we attacked Iraq. Now he's in Iran...figure out, people - he's a scout!" Post #14 by Tennessee_Bob
Want more? I can give you more.... if you need further convincing (I don't)
Sean Penn is as relevant as I am, as you are. I went to Iran.. and experienced things just like he did (well... I didn't quote get to interview a Mullah)... but I experienced a lot of what he did... and more (I was there three weeks to his one).
Just because he is a wealthy successful actor does not mean his views are any less poignant than yours or mine. At least he took the trouble to go there... and yes... despite what you may think... he did so even knowing there was a potential risk to him being there.
I don't care what he says or does, it's all an act. I guess since his acting career is in the crapper, he's got more time to do things such as this.
I never did see the moral outrage from the left when their guy Bill Clinton was bombing Baghdad for four days and nights, to distract you and me and everyone else from the Monica Lewinsky fiasco.
Bush makes it clear he's had enough of the UN fudging around, and he's going to free 25 million people living under the oppressive thumb of Saddam Hussein, and Sean Penn decides he's going on a field trip of Iraq.
Whatever.
