A friend of mine was born in Ireland and he visits there regularly. He told me that they are building more mosques in Ireland than churches. While I suspect the current inventory of churches is close to adequate in Ireland, I was suprised to hear there is any noticeable mosque construction in the old country.

I had said before that Ireland may not be a target - not because of our nonalignment (if you call EU and UN membership 'nonalignment'), but because this is the IRA's 'turf', the IRA have got to have links with AQ (indirect, if not direct), and seeing that the IRA are pushing their treacherous agenda against our constitutional Republic - an Islamofascist attack could screw it up on them! (Though saying that, they could distance themselves from AQ - after all Gerry and Co. have been saying for years that Sinn Fein are separate from the IRA, and RTE, which is Ireland's Al Jazeera, would help them along.)

Another note; Channel 4 are known to be sensationalist in their reporting and their documentaries - this is the channel after all that takes Dan Brown seriously!
