There are people who crave, no not crave, need adoration to simply survive. Oprah had a story on her show about a woman who called a local radio show and told them that her husband was in Iraq and she was going into bootcamp. Neither was true. She'd call everyday to give them a report. Being good Americans, the show's audience basically adopted her. She became addicted to the attention. Later down the road she told them her husband was killed in Iraq (He was a manager of a restaurant in that very town), she used a different name of course. When that happened they brought in an organization similar to Operation Homefront to help her out. It was then that her story began to unravel. But what was interesting was hearing from her during this Oprah segment, on just why she was doing it and it all came down to ATTENTION. And this is Cindy's problem, you can see it in her face, she craves and needs attention. It's very, very sad.
