I can't laugh too loud. I went to Garden City HS on Long Island and our mascot was...the Trojans!
That being said, I don't think there was a single pregnancy! Of course that was in 1959 when the girls just said "No!".
Yeah, there were probably a few girls who spent the summer with an aunt or grnadmother! I heard the prom queen at my HS in VA in '65 spent the summer at her grandmothers and recently announced the daughter she had everybody was told was her mothers.
