They don't seem to be Birks, and even if they are, so what? Good shoes. Let's pick on her use of the langauge instead -- that should have been "If I truly WERE a media whore."
Naw...I think it should be "If I was..." The subjunctive mood (were), should be used for things least possible. I believe that--because she certainly is a media whore, the indicative mood (was) would be the more accurate choice.
