Jeff;
Regarding abortion, it's the woman's right to chose early on. She has many more issues to deal with than we men do.
Once the fetus is formed...it is human. It can be nothing more.
On that particular choice, the woman had the right to choose before life was formed. Once life is formed, it can no longer be her (Or anyone else's) legal or moral choice to kill it, irrespective of what an activist Supreme Court has says. No more than an activist King could tell the founders of this nation that it was legal to house his troops in their homes.
Except this particular ill is orders of magnitudes worse. It has created a holocaust in this nation of tens of millions...destroying the very well spring of our society. To simply say a woman has more to deal with than a man, therefore it is okay to kill the life growing within her...I am sorry, but that stance is not something I can evr agree with or accept.
In fact, IMHO, one of the smaller fall outs of this ill is that it contributes to the illegal immigration issue because we have effectively killed off a good precentage of an entire generation of young people who would be here to work...if we raised them to work. And, as I say, given the overall moral issue and the furthering of and support of the culture of death this despicable ill has brought upon us, that is but one of the smaller ills it produces.
Anyhow, in my estimation, to think otherwise regarding life in the womb...to risk otherwise is to negate the very most fundamental principle this Republic was founded upon...the right to life.
That unalienable right trumps all others and is not something we can equivocate on, trifle with, or dare err on.
