Our government did not form state militia groups to enforce border security. Gilchrist's "Minuteman" are there almost as a protest to advertise the need to keep illegal immigrants from entering the U.S. Essentially, as a need to reduce crime.
The point of my initial posting is whether Mr. Gilchrist opposes the Iraq War. From members contributing information here, I've come to the conclusion the Mr. Gilchrist maintains the same "Howard Dean" liberal view of "I oppose the invasion while supporting the troops." Thus, Jim is a liberal similar to "flip flopping" on the issues to rally up votes.

Yes, Sir we recognize what the point of your original post is. You are attempting to give us reason to vote for you rather than Jim. Myself, I believe that if you want to debate Jim's stance on this forum then you should invite him to meet here at a specific date and time.
I am simply asking questions that I would ask anyone running for office who is going to be paid on my dime. The US Congress has more to deal with than the war in Iraq or the illegal alien situation as I am sure you are aware of, hence the previous questions.

Mr Davis,
Are you aware that this is an employer/employee discussion. You are rquesting that we give you a four year contract as our representative in the US Congress.
It is my position that as your potential employer, you should be the one answering FR.com members questions. Derision of your competitors isn't the way to win this contract, Sir. Being truthful and open will do you much more benefit than harm.
Regards,
B4Ranch
