Does this mean that the feds are preempting the idiot governor and mayor? I hope so. Usually I hate federal intervention in anything, but that governor of Louisiana just seems like a complete idiot. She was just on FNC and said that the President declared a state of emergency

I know Governor Blanco is acting like an idiot, but I do want to point out in her defense that she was the one who sent a letter to the President earlier today requesting FEMA/Federal Emergency Aid, and the President agreed to the request.
