Yeah, it's pretty amazing that Bush can be briefed daily while in Texas, yet even when at the White House, Clinton couldn't even meet with his DCIA...except on two occassions.
Maybe the reason Clinton couldn't vacation at a domestic retreat was because the poor boy didn't own a home and was on the public dole for most his life. And I'm sure if we never found out about Monica, the media would be telling us about all those late-nights that Clinton put in "working for the American people."

Oil is the only strategic interest that we have in the Persian Gulf region.
Saddam Hussein represented a continued, beligerant threat to the stability of that oil supply to the global marketplace.
Any linkage to terrorist activity simply provided further justification for his removal.
If not for the oil, we wouldn't give a rat's patoot whether or not the Iraqi people had a stable, democratic government.

If a major news organization were unbiased, they would explain that there is not ONE thing that isn't being done because the President is in Crawford.
An unbiased and INTELLIGENT news organization might even run a major story about how modern technology makes it much easier for even the President to be "on-the-job" while not actually in the White House. These comparisons to Eisenhouer are simply silly.

Willie Green considers himself an 'old-timer' as though that makes him the voice of wisdom. I have no doubt this guy opposed free-trade as well.
