HEADS UP: There is an anti-war protest planned by the Westboro Baptist Church in Martinsville, IN tomorrow during a Soldier's funeral.
I first heard about it was from a chatter earlier today on MSN chat who was requesting help with bail tomorrow. I subsequently visited the church's website and found confirmation of their plans.
The chatter stated that the entire town would be turning out for the funeral and that people are "ready and waiting" for these protestors. He also stated that he wasn't sure the local PD would protect these protestors. I am hoping cooler heads prevail...

If somebody posted but a few of what some of those protestors from that cult's placards say--when they are at the entrance to funerals for fallen war heroes, why this FR thread would absolutely burn up in wrath! Sick!
If you are asking why I would want cooler heads to prevail;
Just that there is enough heartache and bloodshed already. I would never advocate violence even if these people are asking for it. I'm worried it could get way out of hand.
These people are friggin' disgusting. Where are the Hell's Angel's when you need them? Someone needs to take the initiative and stand up to these monstrous bastards.
Let me just say that you'd have to be scum of the lowest order to crash a funeral to make a point. Someone gave up their life for us. Find another way to express yourself.
The funeral attendees that knew the member of the military have my blessing to beat any protesters on site to within an inch of their lives.
Protesters have a right to voice their opinions. They do not have a right to inflict gross pain on grieving families and friends.

When they hell are they going to get it? This didn't work last year, and things were a hell of a lot more bleak then.
They keep thinking if they try hard enough they're going to turn people against the war. The simple fact of the matter is that there's very little middle-ground these days. The die-hard conservatives and liberals will not be swayed, and those who aren't either don't care enough to take a side.
I am going to make use of that site...we're going to dog these pukes everywhere they go! Eagles Up!
