Seriously, your broadbrush attacks does nothing to honor the victims of the Shoah - nor the 9 million Ukrainians or 9 million Poles killed during WWII by the communists and fascists.
What it does do is perpetuate the storyline of the Kremlin that has worked very effectively to deflect attention away from the genocide of 100 million in the last century.

6 millions of Poles were killed during the WWII and half of them was Jewish. About the Ukrainians, I don’t know exact numbers.

Cardinal Lustiger was a Polish Jew whose family perished in Auschwitz. He converted to Catholicism during the war while in his early teens. Out of respect I'd consider him Catholic, though he could certainly be considered an apostate Jew.
French Jews were rounded up and sent to the camps by the French government. That was certainly not the case in Poland.

I am the last to stick up for the French but were it not for the Nazis, no Jews would have been rounded up.
Vichy was beneath contempt but they did so with the muzzle of a mauser at their back.

Considering that the Pulitzer reaffirmed the Duranty PRize recently, its not surprising that no one knows the real story. The left wants no one to know the depths of the Communist Genocide in Ukraine. They want the world to know of the few thousand Nazi sympathizers and not the 15 million genocide victims.
Likewise they want to world to think that all the soviets that were killed were Russian and not mostly Ukrainian.
