... but you'll never believe it.

On that we do agree. My knowledge of "Magic Bullet Scottish Law Arlen" is too deep and long to be changed by a bit of apparent "good-doing".

To understand my opinion of Specter, read his own words and observe his manipulative tactics while taking depositions re his "Magic Bullet" coverup scheme.

Then you will comprehend why "Weldon also said that he will do whatever he has to do to make sure that ALL the facts come out and that the process "is not manipulated" -- immediately after referring to Specter.

Yep. My thoughts exactly when I read the first post in the thread. A shot across Arlen's bow?

So, do we have a situation where Weldon was working on trying to break inertia with the leadership (and House Intel Cmte chairman) to get House hearings scheduled, and Arlen jumped at the opportunity to try to take the momentum from him for some reason?

Or, is Weldon actually working with Arlen on this because of resistance on the House side and making noise about not letting things be manipulated as a warning to the House leadership?

Somehow, I tend to think it was a warning to Specter that the truth will come out, no matter what you do. Time will tell...
