That's a very interesting thought. Some of things that I have accepted in the past I look back with wonder now, eg., Reganomics was bad, the trickle down effect only benefited the rich. These ideas were in the air for all to breath in. It's amazing when you stumble over an idea that you once thought to be of value or the truth, and you realize that you've gone beyond it. It shows how uncritical we can be at times.

But I find it incomprehensible, that I have to argue the facts and be upbraided for posting the TRUTH, by someone who calls himself a Conservative and then says that he came here to "learn". Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh!

Indeed. It is what Rush calls, "the liberal template" and what others have referred to as "the liberal default".

For example, the liberal default is that government is helpful to the poor and therefore any attempt to reduce the size and scope of government amounts to an attack against the poor. That default position cannot be challenged - - it is the template. Mentioning, for example, that the socialist welfare state, (aka, "the New Deal", "the Great Society", etc.) has destroyed the urban black family unit is strictly verbotten.
