The frequency of natural catastrophes like Hurricane "Katrina" can only be explaned by man-made caused global warming,

Only the Atlantic basin is having increased frequency. The others are about the same.

"Only the Atlantic basin is having increased frequency. The others are about the same."

I am not convinced that humans have contributed ANY measurable effect on the atmospheric environment. The last three major volcanic erruptions spewed many times more destructive gaseous pollutants into the delicate stratosphere than humans have in all of our insustrial existence.

The "global warming is caused by ozone depletion" argument is hypothetically theoretical to say the least. Chemists show how ozone molecules can be broken down in lab conditions using certain by-product chemicals and then link those to "stuff" humans do. Connect a bunch of dots and spend a lot on lobbyist and you have linked humans to destruction of an insullating molecule high in our atmosphere that we do not have the technology to measure.

Presto!! Humans cause global warming and the hurricanes are our own fault.
