Iran's determination to reshape the Middle East in its own imagea deliberate "clash of civilizations" with the United States.
Iran
Persia
The old Persian Empire - frequently used its infidel Greek enemies as mercs to keep their empire afloat.
Today the question is does the new Islamic Empire which encompasses old Persia, use its infidel American enemies as mercs to keep its empire afloat?
- as seen in the fact that the new Iraqi Constitution has Islam not only as its state religion but as its litmus test on all legislation, stating that no law will be passed that contradicts Islam.
There is one difference that is apparent... at least the Greeks got paid. Hopefully we will see American troops following the Greeks in a more enlightened way, the way of ALEXANDER THE GREEK.
(I know he was Macedonian yeah yeah, but hey maybe he was actually half Egyptian, did you hear that one?)
