What I'd like to know is how he and Rove were able to cause natural disasters thousands of years before they were even born. These guys are pure geniuses. I think their best was how they made Rome fall, maybe not in a day, but they eventually succeeded.

Our morning talk radio guy Michael Smerconish has this Will Bunch guy on from time to time to give the 'other side's view'. Every time I hear him I change the station.

This shit has to stop. Inland waterways funding and military funding are two entirely different types of appropriations that come out of entirely different committees. They are in no way related. It is up to Congress to appropriately fund inland waterways repair and maintenance. They have not.

Wonder how many Indonesian Al Quaida bases will be sending left over Tsunami relief dollars to the Katrina victims...
Ya think Germany and France will have a contest to see who can send the most money to New Orleans?

Sounds like the Big Dig of the south to me, except that it is a perpetual money magnet.

If the LA rats in control spent less on welfare votes and more
on keeping their state up to date then maybe the dikes would
not be out of control.
These rats blaming bush are no better than the complete morons
blaming global warming on President Bush and the cause of hurricanes. America needs to purge the leftists to remain America.

"With much of the Crescent City some 10 feet below sea level"
Duh.
They mean 10 feet below water.
Sea level hasn't changed.
Stupid writer.

I'm a Bush supporter but he should be activating reservists and offering to cover costs for NG from nearby states. 4,000 Louisiana NG isn't 10% of what they need for a catastrophe like this.

It makes no sense to build a city below sea level and in a vulnerable location. New Orleans was there before there was a United States. They didn't build a city below sea level.

Oh, everything. Floods, hurricanes, terrorism, toothaches, food poisening, hot and cold spells. When the driver next to you cuts you off? That's Bush's fault too!
Mr. President, I have just one question. If you are so powerful, why have you shown such patience with these fools? Click your heels and wish them to France already.
To: Mind-numbed Robot
New Orleans was there before there was a United States. They didn't build a city below sea level. French built houses using stone to last for long time. I guess French quarter will survive the exposure to water.
