Dare we ask why? Why did you all decide to cancel the counter protest?

I have to work, and my wife changed her mind, and does not want to attend.. in addition to the fact that there are "security concerens".

Plus there is the consideration of giving them more attention than they deserve. A large counter protest could turn one of their failed appearances into a "success".

Another minor factor Cindy is guaranteed not to be there, she's taken the week off upset that Katrina took away all of her press.

I posted this last night;

just saw this on another board;

"Bush has known these hurricanes were coming to Tallahassee for months and yet no response whatsoever."

It was on a sports board, talking about Jeb Bush and the FSU- Miami game.

WOW.. The President gets 3 months notice on hurricane strikes.. I didn't know that... LOL

I drove by the capital at about 4:15pm and they had about TEN folks waving their anti-war banners.. what a HUGE turnout, I'm sure the media will report this accurately..
