We should let Russia send some troops to deal with the looters. The problem would be solved very quickly.

Ditto!

We need to figure out the Russians and us have a great deal in common and should be friends.

The Russians have figured out that the violent Muslims are the enemy, we should keep our mouths shut regarding the Russians' handling of Chechnya. Perhaps even support them.

We share common religions and aspirations and each already have enough land mass to not need what the other has.

I also saw a USNS oiler going down the river. That only figures, since the task force will need fuel.

The FSB Poisoning of Yushenko.

Oh boy, like this hasn't been disproved a thousand times, even by Yushchenko himself stating that the Russians had nothing to do with it.

Bankrolling Arafat, he was the KGB's man:

Allow me to remind you that the one blemish on an otherwise great man, Ronald Reagan, was sending the marines into Lebanon to save Arafag and his PLO and move them to Tunisia. Who returned them to the occupied territories and raised them to official status? We did. Who bankrolled them and strong armed the Isrealies into arming them? We did. Who still sends them gifts, like $60 million post their "election"? We do.

"Russia Hid Saddam's WMDs" By Ion Pacepa

Ahh, the mass murderer and former general of the Romanian KGB who defected 20 years ago (so of course he knows everything that has happened since then and is still happening from all his "contacts"). The main articles were sourced to a man who was fired by DoD and is under investigation by the FBI and was part of Kerry's October surprise. But thanks for rehashing it for us.

"China, Russia kick off first joint military exercises"

Wow, their first ever. Lets see how many we've had with the Ruskies this year alone? Oh like around FIVE. And we've been having them every year for the past decade.

By the way, Frontpagemagazine has about as much credibility as Newsmax and Debka.

I was thinking the same thing, -The same folks that were irate over the fact that we were sending a rescue ship to the downed Russian sub a few weeks back.

It would probably be best to build elsewhere. I couldn't face sending a child back to a place where another family member had been murdered like that.

Well I was partially wrong, Stellar Dendrite, one of that clique showed up and started his usual rants. I'd like to place him on one of those roofs so he can tell the Russians to bugger off instead of in front of his comfy computer.

The Russians have figured out that the violent Muslims are the enemy, we should keep our mouths shut regarding the Russians' handling of Chechnya.

Russia has made it's share of mistakes concerning Muslims and The Brotherhood, as have we. If we could put our chips together and take care of business it would be a big step forward for the war on terror.

Anywho, its nice to see that in the event of a tragedy the world can kick politics aside and offer it's assistance.

I find it simply amazing that the same crowd goes berserk over an offer of help from the Russians. It's little wonder they are so obsessed with their conspiracy theory the KGB is going to resurrect the evil Soviet Union. Their belief is based on the writings of a few Soviet experts who would be out of a job now that the Iron Curtain is gone. Their expertise as experts is no longer needed.

For what it's worth, I think Pootie-poot's call and offer for help, was mostly a formality. I think it's incumbent on World leaders to do that sort of thing, particularly those approaching Super-Power status. This thread did raise interesting points, the French and the Germans proving themselves entirely useless once again. (not much from them but criticism) It's nice to see that Putin made the call. Maybe the folks that seem so distrustful were listening to George Noorey on the Art Bell show last night, whose guest maintained that; Ivan and Katrina were russian sounding names hence, this was Prima Facia evidence that THE EVIL RUSKIES USED THEIR WEATHER CONTROL MACHINES TO GENERATE AND DIRECT IVAN AND KATRINA! Hehe..

Thank you, Russia! I got some e-mails from people with families down on the Gulf Coast, today and they need a lot of help.

A year ago, the tragedy in Beslan happened. Some of us Americans--all too few--responded to help. The anniversary of Beslan is tomorrow. Let us remember the martyrs of Beslan, who died for the Christian faith.

Isn't "frontpage" the website that published the article by Stephen Schwartz/Suleyman Ahmad saying that Honorary Serb is an American "hatemonger" who supports "Serbian fascism" by "writing to knuckledragger websites"?

Their credibility is less than zero!!!!

Many thanks to a great country, Russia. We have too much in common not to be friends and allies.
I don't know if all of the negative things said are true but it's not exactly unusual for a country to take care of it's own aspirations first.
It's like beginning managers, they're taught that they're all working for the company and all towards its success. Sooner or later, they'll realize that most managers are protecting their empire first, then the company.
