I have no complaint about the Salvation Army. I often buy my clothes there, because you can get great clothes and other items for cheap prices. And I often see workers there who seem to be crawling back up to being human beings again. They are learning again and are polite and helpful. I give the Salvation Army a thumbs up!

We have all heard the horror stories about the Red Cross and I will never ever give them a single dime.

The Salvation Army or the Volunteers of America get my donations.

Well, it certainly wasn't to start a fight. I'm sorry that you were offended. That was certainly not my intent at all. I was merely trying to encourage everyone to give.

I just called the Salvation Army (1-800-SAL-ARMY). Tonight they are giving 100% of any donation received. I recommend calling them immediately. From what I gather, the Red Cross will only give about 50% of the donation.

I decided not to give through the Red Cross long before this nut came on. I gave to:
Samaritan's Purse.
