I was listening to that. Almost sounded like someone gave them bogus info and then base jumped in about it... is this the NG we're listening to?

He said that other neighbors were throwing children into the water whenever a boat passed in the hope that it would force the boat to stop.
But the boats didn't stop and the kids drowned.
This is at least double hearsay, but I thought I'd pass it along.
