"We in America have turned our back on God why should we think that His back will not turn on us?"

America may have turned its back to God (although polls show the younger people are turning that around) - but I sincerely doubt that God has turned his back on us. And who knows - terrible disasters have occured in the past which I believe were God's judgements - so I'd be a fool to say that it won't happen again - or that this might not be one of them.

But - regardless of wheather it is "God's Judgement" or the normal "everyday" natural disaster - God won't turn his back on us.

Why do you feel that God will not turn His back on us? Why should our fate be better than those of our Christian sisters and brothers around the world, as we support and sponsor the governments that torture and persecute them, and the American churches sit in silence.

What makes us so special? We sponsor abortion around the world and have even promoted it. The ten commandants are being treated as if they are a crime. Mention the name of Jesus in a public work area and it is being treated as if it is pornography. We have done far many more things that the Lord would not be just if He did not judge us.
I fear for my country that which is to come!
