The looters I saw? All day? One was not black. I am not saying all blacks are criminals or something as asinine as that, I am saying if you are watching what everyone else is watching, you tend to lose sympathy for these people quickly.

I can't say either of of your pics - are any in the other set posted on here - show looters. No doubt there are scumbags looting down there, but the pics on here show - to me - people just trying to survive.

Well they bring back memories for me, and not good ones! What made me so angry about our looting situation in those riots back in 92 was the hypocrisy of half those people. They said ''Well we are looting just white peoples stores, cause were so mad about the verdict, so we are stealing and burning these stores so they will know how angry we are. Of course ,in the coming days it turned out that over 3/4 of these places that got looted and burned were black owned businesses in their own neighborhoods!These people were just out for what they could steal. It made me sick!

I am trying to avoid any comment; I just found the comparison of the captions together with the conjunction of the pix "interesting" to say the least. The pix are about as identical as two pix could be....yet one is evidently of a "looter" and the other is an [innocent] "finder". Other than that, I think enough has been said about the situation; at least for me.
