The sick left is repulsive. Open your eyes America and take a real hard look at these losers.
Barbour handled himself well, I think.
I saw that interview in CNN and Gov. Barbour was GREAT. They kept trying to put words in his mouth and trap him and he wouldn't have any of it. They kept asking "How could the Federal Government have done a better job" and he kept saying that the Federal Government has been great and given them everything they've asked for.
Barbour for President in '08.
He's been great throughout all of this, as has Perry in covering the slack for Blanco.
Thank God he's calling these scum on their political agendas.
LOL! BAD KITTY!
I feel like smacking the next idiot who tries to tell me that there's no bias in the media or worse- that the MSM is conservatively biased.
Wow, a liberal calling for the use of the military?
I guess when you think about it then it makes sense. Liberals think of the military as cheap labor.
I just could not believe my eyes and ears watching this. WTF does Miles O'Brien know about moving Navy ships and prepositioning supplies? This storm was so big it covered nearly the entire Gulf. Was the Navy supposed to send in ships before it hit and have them swamped? I don't THINK so. The Coast Guard - last time I looked it was a part of the U.S. miltary - was on the scene in New Orleans within hours with rescue helicopters.
It wasn't the baiting so much as the incredible presumption of superior knowledge abut hurricane preparedness and response by O'Brien that made me mad.
But if you want to let me tell you what I think, I will
THAT was a great answer, but unfortunately Ted's network is not there to really inquire as to what Republicans think, only to properly form the opionions of voters, er, viewers to their "correct political orientation" to quote Mao.
Can you imagine CNN asking tough questions of Governor Blanco and Mayor Nagin? Such as, "Why didn't you organize an evacuation", or, "Why didn't you call out the National Guard earlier". I can't imagine it. The only negative comment about Mayor Nagin I heard came from a young African American girl at the Astrodome. She said, "Nagin didn't do nothing for us."
I read this transcript with growing anger.
We have a natural disaster, a major US city devastated, hundreds dead, etc... and this mouthpiece of DNC simply wants to leverage it for their advantage.
I disagree with the notion that the US Gov't/US Military should have acted sooner/deployed sooner.
Roger that ~ the moonbat MSM at it's worst ~ Bump!
That's what I've been thinking. He's really stepping up here.
He might be Katrina's Rudy Giuliani. I certainly haven't seen anyone else that fits the bill.
You about summed up my feelings.
I disagree with the notion that the US Gov't/US Military should have acted sooner/deployed sooner.

So do I. The problem was in the preparedness of the area. They were not protected well enough. It should have been a major priority a LONG TIME AGO to beef up their levee systems -- and it did not happen, even when it was brought to the attention of Clinton at the Federal level in 1998. He refused to support the project.
