Yes, you are right. They did.
Neal Bortz did not support Terri, but he's a jerk, who even puts down people who are against abortion.
That isn't exactly breaking news...lol
I see we have found some common ground. :)
It was inhumane, barbaric and it was MURDER. What happened to Terri Schiavo is the crime/scandal of the century but so many cronies who are seeking higher office don't want the public to know that they were part of the heinous treatment of Terri, a person who breathed on her own and she could swallow but Judge Greer denied new swallowing tests.
If Judge Greer's ILLEGAL TV COMMERCIAL and the deceptive endorsement by the Pinellas Executive Chair of the GOP and other campaign violations not under the election commission but Judge Greer VIOLATED JUDICIAL CANONS, Terri would be alive today. Judge Greer should be indicted!
http://www.judgegeorgegreer.com (there are new anti-Greer web sites all the time. He is the MOST CORRUPT, CONNECTED, EVIL JUDGE IN AMERIKA. When will Amerika wake up? When they have their very own Judge Greed?
I see you're still at it. If you'll make an appointment, I'm sure you can get the dosage increased.
"I see you're still at it. If you'll make an appointment, I'm sure you can get the dosage increased."
That's exactly what a LIBERAL would say, and a mean-spirited one, at that.
Just can't leave that caplock key alone can you?
"Just can't leave that caplock key alone can you?"
Yup, LIBERAL.
Whoa - we're on the same page! I was ridiculing SAL's silly idea that the reason we think Greer is in office illegally is because we disagree with his ruling. And that's not it.
I agree with you about the whole Judicial branch. Corrupt from one end to the other and down to the core. With the legislative and executive branches following close behind.
Oh, so even though I support gun rights, I am against abortion, I vote conservative in every election across the board, I support the war in Iraq, and I voted for Bush twice, because I made a comment about your incessant screaming posts, that premise makes me a liberal? Do I understand you correctly?
I am not "trying" to look like a conservative. I am a conservative-a conservative who happens to disagree with you on this issue.
You are so focused on trying to "win" this argument that you cannot understand, that not everyone will agree on an issue. My not agreeing with you doesn't make me a liberal. I am a registered member of the Republican Party. I vote straight Republican, with the exception of local races where only one candidate is running. Some local offices really aren't important enough to disqualify a candidate from my support just because they happen to be a Democrat. You seem to think that you can label me as a liberal because I don't support your views on the Terry Schiavo issue.
I cannot stop you from believing what you believe. My posting on this thread began with a simple opinion that however we feel about the case, it's over. It's obvious that you are completely obsessed with this case. Now that it's over, you cannot let it go. You can't return to your pre-Schiavo life, because you're addicted to this case.
Look, I'm sorry the woman is dead. But the very fact that there was disagreement over this case is why it went to court. In a court case, there are always winners and losers. That's the nature of our system of laws. For whatever reason, you have based your entire opinion of Judge Greer on this one case, and his television commercial.
Maybe Judge Greer was wrong, but he's the judge. I have read nothing that indicates that any prosecutor is prepared to bring an indictment against him. As I said, given the fact that this case is settled, your obsession with it will accomplish nothing. Falsely accusing me of being a liberal will accomplish nothing.
You definitely remind me of the homeschooling extremists that I have debated on FR. Anything less than 100% complete agreement with your point of view results in the very ridicule that you accuse me of. Yes, I have poked a little fun at you and others. Since you won't debate calmly without the screaming caplock key and using the word murder a thousand times, I felt that humor was the way to go.
I have also conceded that I am not going to change anyone's mind. I have asked that we just leave it at that. You feel one way, and I feel another. That doesn't make you right, and it doesn't make me right. In my mind I'm right, and in yours, you are. I really don't see this as anything other than a stalemate. Why don't we just stop there, and let it go. If you will respond by saying..."OK, we can agree to disagree," then we can just have different opinions. If you come back with more arguments, I most likely will respond to them in some way. I usually don't back down from a debate.
I understand how passionately you feel about this issue. I understand your viewpoint. Allow me the priviledge of not agreeing with you.
By the way, we did have a pretty good season this year. Thanks for asking.
Oh, and somewhere in here in this monstrosity of a thread is a response to 1338. I think. I have lost track.
One of the signs of being a liberal is bother to comment if a poster types only ONE word in SC.
Now to further your education:
Evidence surfaces that Michael Schiavo sought information possibly on funeral arrangements for Terri as early as 1993
It was recently discovered (September 2003) that sometime in the year of 1993 a file was completed on Terri Schiavo at a Pinellas County funeral home.
Interestingly enough, it was January of 1993 that over close to a million dollars was deposited in a medical trust fund specifically for Terris life-long future rehabilitation and care.
Additionally, it was in the summer of 1993 when Michael Schiavo admitted to trying to withhold antibiotics from Terri knowing that the infection she had would have killed her if it went untreated.
Coincidentally, Michael Schiavo is the inheritor of Terris medical trust fund and would have been the recipient of close to a million dollars if Terri would have died in 1993

Numerous medical experts believe that Terri Schiavos injuries were the result of domestic violence and have called upon domestic violence and abuse organizations nationwide to become involved. The Florida Coalition for Domestic Violence can be contacted at 850-425-2749 www.fcadv.org
I view that as your personal opinion, and not in any way a proven scientific fact.
As for your information, I am not refuting it. However, I must reemphasize that this matter was settled in a court of law.
