The US is partly responsible for the high oil prices as it has not expanded its refinery capacity for a long time,

Tell us something we don't know, Sigfried.

We haven't been able to trust the Germans since they bombed Pearl Harbor.

Everyone knew this was true so nobody needed to bother checking.   Especially when it's some European saying something bad about the US-- then it's got to be true.

But seriously, even though refinery capacity has been increasing all along, and the German is lying again, I personally think that rising prices mean that there's room for even more more capacity.   If anyone here sincerely agrees, an online brokerage account can be opened for just $50 per week.   I've been happy building refineries with TSO, VLO, and CHK and also drilling and exploration with KCS and UNT.

A warning here, there's risk.   After all, it's possible that future demand is not going to outpace future supply and this whole oil crisis shtick is going to just blow over.
