The report I read said that they were being kept track of in the Superdome, but the move to Houston has jumbled everything up. Great, now we don't know who's a convicted criminal, and who's not.

CNN now reporting it is a fire in a warehouse near the rail yard, and is not a rail car...

If the fire is near the railyard, it will soon be in the railyard. We cannot stop spot fires from jumping around. This place needs immediate evac. All shooters need to be neutralized ASAP.

But how much more it hurts when our own ghetto thugs - fellow Americans - are the ones inflicting the pain. This is a wake up call like we've never seen.

Right on.

We ruined the inner cities of our country......... The Great Society..... the feeling of "entitlement", The Welfare State, the age of dependency............ aren't the liberals so proud of what they created?

I recommend "Wylie Avenue Days" for a great perspective on this.

"The heyday of Pittsburgh's Hill District lasted from the 1930s through the 1950s, and this eloquent documentary recaptures it all. Drop in on the music clubs that attracted both black and white. Relive the glory of the best Negro League baseball teams in America. Learn about the church picnics, family businesses and other elements that comprised the essence of life in this vibrant neighborhood.

'Nothing toxic in the warehouse...was old oil products..no danger to the public'

"old oil products" -- well on the bright side, the looters can't steal this stuff.

This has been a long, ugly look in the mirror for us. Yes, we have foreign enemies. But how much more it hurts when our own ghetto thugs - fellow Americans - are the ones inflicting the pain. This is a wake up call like we've never seen.

Agreed, Maybe now we can dispel with the political correctness and get down to brass tacks. What is really good for all not just a few. IMHO politicians have been bickering among themselves about getting elected, serving lobbyist and not serving the people that elected them. The courts have been doing the same, Ind giving the criminal all the rights and taking the rights of the law abiding away from them. I for one amy fed up with them.

All chemicals are 'toxic' to the ignorant. They need more fresh air.

Been going on since the ghetto riots started in Phila in 1964

Nobody learned a DAMN thing

Point of history
When riots started in Phila in 1964 Frank Rizzo a Capt on the police force had things under control and was ORDERED to cease and desist and the looting of the Jewish Merchants started ( of course the mantra was they deserved it since since they had been expoliting the Black Community )

4 years later Rizzo was Chief of Police. MLK was asassinated and almost all the major cities in the USA were burned and looted in the Black areas

HOWEVER the Phila Major this time gave Rizzo full powers and he stated up front THIS CITY WILL NOT BE BURNED AND IT WILL NOT BE LOOTED

IT WASN'T

Course the liberals HATED Frank

Over on TN, "eom" makes threats about fires being set in NO and about law enforcement being shot.
