No foreign troops have been allowed on U.S. soil for the last few hundred years, and I don't think that we should start now. It's going to look ugly enough if the National Guard has to start shooting at U.S. citizens (even if they are armed thugs), and I don't want to see foreign troops doing it as well.

Agree. I appreciate the gesture and any other type of aid is fine. But in this area we must be able to take care of ourselves. Although I support the President and our forces in the Iraq mission I believe the regular Military should be large enough to do that.
