>>MSM? I thought they were entertainment?<<
Oh that's right. I forgot. ;-).
My hubby listens to Savage.
I turned him on yesterday while in the car. I turned him off.
B!tch and moan was all I heard.
I switched to Hannity (time delayed in Detroit). He was talking about how the performers from the concerts Sean promotes are all giving their tour buses, loading them with water, and with their own money, they are now heading down to NO.
It was so positive and upbeat. I'll stay there.
Bump for RUSH...
Yeah, I heard Savage last might. Must've been about the same time I turned him off.
I read your post. Pretty rough, but I don't think it warranted being removed.
I think that we are just only getting pieces of info here and there. I keep hearing conflicting accounts of what is really going on. One account says that they are and have been dropping water in the Superdome, others say that they have been getting no food OR water. The water issue bugs me the most. I think though that common sense would tell you that if any of those people had gone without any water for the past FIVE DAYS, there would be dying all around in huge numbers. I can't live 5 hours without water. If they arent' even getting water, then I'm really pissed. If I was there in that situation AND getting water, I would do as another poster suggested: GET THE HELL OUT BY WALKING WEST ON I-10
Sorry that I lost my temper with putupjob, but really, we need to stop this carping and encourage help from all comers.
ML/NJ
Exactly. Why aren't those that can walking out?
I just heard on Laura Ingraham's show from a soldier who was there.
Even when they get on the buses there is no water.
Duh.
No need to apologize, but you are right, we all need to be more attentive to the task at hand, it does absolutely no good to anyone to yell and scream, despite whose fault it all is. I'm waiting for someone to blame God
