The Louisiana Library Association has set up 'The LLA Disaster Relief Fund' and is now accepting monetary donations to assist school, public, and academic library restoration efforts in Southeastern Louisiana.

Let's rescue & feed the living, bury the dead, get the roads, eclectricity, and the infrastructure back on line. Then let's worry about some kid having politically correct (new math, revisionist history, socio-economic basket weaving, and other such elitist esoteric feel-good subjects) textbooks later... Much later.

I'll send the check when I'm sure the infrastructure is place so that it won't be looted, the electricity is on and the Librarian is back to work from the storm. Gotta assign your priorities. As far as an Honorary GED, you can stick that where your common sense seems to be coming from...
