Gee, I thought of this on Sunday. Why the hell didn't any disaster planners put this into the planning well beforehand?

The order should have been placed BEFORE the storm hit, when President Bush gave the evac orders. But I guess we shouldn't expect much from DUmocrats who run the state.

This creates a lot of questions, WHY wasn't this done before the Storm?? I'm sure if her ass was on the ballot and it was election day, all these people would've been bused to where they needed to go.

Ivan exposes flaws in N.O.'s disaster plans (September 19, 2004)

"If the government asks people to evacuate, the government has some responsibility to provide an option for those people who can't evacuate and are at the whim of Mother Nature," said Joe Cook of the New Orleans ACLU. -September 19, 2004
