OIC, but anyway the Indians warned or rather questioned the French why they would built it there.

That's exactly what I mean, no matter what he does, the media, Europe and every democrat just rags on him...and none of them care that they are telling lies...I really hope the Lord takes them to task for all the lies told about him.

Me too. I wish he asked him why 200 plus school buses were sitting in a parking lot. He was ranting earlier today that he didn't want no school buses. They needed to send in the greyhounds. Couldn't evacuate people on buses with no bathrooms. I bet if he would ask some of those people sitting in the astrodome they would say anything just get me out of here.

It is very true that the Welfare State does breed this type of attitude and what is even more true that a lot of people on Welfare are on the fringes of the law or even well the other side of it.

I think maybe that many people have been reluctant to say this in case they are accused of social or racist intolerance or prejudice. I know that dad and I were concerned from day one what would happen if the law enforcement infrastructure broke down in New Orleans but it is very difficult to express this fear without being named a racist.

I don't even agree with myself 100%! Love our President, too. So thankful he's in office. Wish he could run a third time!

I didn't hear it, but a chatter posted in a political chat room that a African American woman had said the hadn't eaten in 3 days. When a generous woman gave her an MRE she spit it out after biting into it and said she was not going to eat that crap

Guess she wasn't starving.

That was what he said. The man has that reasoning that says I deserve entitlements because I am black. I have heard him blame everyone and I have seen his attitude and it sickens me. Did you see the woman who was given an MRE and refused to eat it because it wasn't hot? Why do we have to feed her at all? Why is she entitled? That adage teach a man to fish and he will have food to eat the rest of his life, give a man a fish and he will eat for a day is so true and all this going on in NO is such proof of that.

Riley can come across as a poser of sorts.

You know, today was the first time I saw Riley, and the way he was carrying himself I kept thinking "poser". But I let it go because I know this isn't anyone's best day and I shouldn't judge him.

But there were a few things he did during this briefing that I thought were odd and out of place. The tone of his voice--everyone else was using their "inside" voice, but Riley was using his "outside" voice.

When the president was talking, Riley would nod his head excessivley.

And after W shook hands with a Coast Guard pilot, Riley nearly tripped over himself to shake the pilot's hand too.

Again, I might be reading too much into all this. But I couldn't help but notice.
