Today President Bush toured the Gulf Coast states of Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana and and did his best to comfort the victims of the most destructive natural disaster in the history of the United States
We will pray for them as they cope with their losses, and recover. God is good!
There should be some sort of rule that when there's a serious event like this, the networks need to leave they're "emotional" reporters in New York. They don't do anyone any good by being "there", least of all themselves.

I was so pleased that this info finally came out because I was getting tired of hearing about all the Bush-bashing - while the name GOVERNOR was not coming up in the conversation. I told Eleanor at Newsweek that we know she was just trying to cover for the GOVERNOR who DIDN'T DO HER JOB.
That was the delay .. Bush was waiting for her to act - and then he just couldn't wait any longer.

My feelings are that being a practical man, he doesn't see any benefit in holding grudges. I just don't think it's in his heart to do it. He has a good sense of humor and he is very humble. I think his past has caused him to be humble, and everytime he may think badly of someone, he just probably says, "I'm no better than that person. I have no right to judge." That's just what I think goes on in his head, 'cause that's how he acts.
Hi snugs .. my mom went to a nursing home on Wednesday and she's so happy there.
I don't mean to laugh, but they have these little walkers for the elderly patients. It's like the kind you use for your toddler .. they can stand up and walk around, and then when they get tired, they can sit down. Once my mom found out she could get up and walk around and she didn't have to worry about falling down .. she was gone! It's like she's found this new freedom. I get to visit tomorrow for a couple of hours and then I have to wait another couple of days. This is just the policy of the nursing home for new patients. If she doesn't get upset by the visit, then I will be allowed to visit anytime I want; whatever hours are convenient for me.
I'm hoping the extra exercise will help her to sleep better at night.

I read the article (Shreveport Times) and it doesn't say when the mother sheehan will or if she will rejoin the tour.
