The only problem is, is that it is NOT the role of a President to micro manage a city. That is the responsibility of the local government. Now that they have totally screwed up - higher authorities can take over. When national security is involved like it was in NO, yes, that is a federal role.

The states local government calls the shots. It is up to the local state government to ASK for help.
Haven't you heard of the separation of federal and state?
