What if Bush was impeached? Cheney would be president and have pretty much the same borders policy.Hypothetically, Bush is impeached and removed for failing to enforce the law and you assume Cheney will repeat his mistake, and that the Congress that just removed Bush will do nothing about it?

Is Cheney a border warrior? I hadn't heard. The impeachment would never go through, anyway. The whole thing is stupid. President Bush doesn't care, and an impeachment bill isn't going to bring about some kind of Saul of Tarsus conversion in him. He is committed to open borders.
Yes, the President and the Congress need a wake-up call on the border situation. Here's an idea: Quit electing RINOs to Congress for the sake of a Republican majority! Here's another idea: Don't support the GOP with your contributions. Take away what really matters to them: votes and financial contributions.
There are things that can be done other than impeachment. President Bush would have a much harder time calling a group of Minutemen in the tens of thousands "vigil-ON-tes" than we would with numbers in the thousands--like 2,000.
