I heard Wayne Rogers make this same comment on Fox about the Levee Board spending its money on casinos and private jets. We need hard documentation of this to buttress this claim. Any thought on where to find such documentation?
Also, who made the decision to build a levee system that couldn't withstand a cat 4 storm? I've read estimates of about $1 billion to build one that could withstand a cat 5 storm. It WOULD have been cheap insurance, don't you think?
Every $10 of homeland security funding had $5 diverted to non security purposes.
And I'm probably misunderestimating the percentage diverted.
