Don't want to flame you, but how in the world can you say he is a good guy? He has failed miserably in his job, he failed to lead his people. The he denigrated the President, the National Guard and the Coast Guard and blamed them for his failure. The President had to actually ask him to evacuate NO and he finally said the words but failed to take the action. These are not the actions of a "good guy" in my opinion. Please list for us what you think he did correctly in this whole situation, I really would like to know. Perhaps I have missed some action on his part that brings credit to him.

All I know is that he was prior to this taking on the corruption in NO. He was a good Mayor.

I don't know why he didn't evac, perhaps the Gov prevented him, I don't know and it will take time to know.

His past gives him credit.
