"Far faster, bigger, and better than the LA infrastructure (mayor and governor) were capable of putting to good use."
I agre..I think a major part of the problem
lies with LA officials, and has, for over a
century...
But when the after action review of the way that
Katrina was dealt with, there seems to me, to be
a strong need tyo develop the supporting
communications "CAP" that a
'Disaster Area Management Group' should go under
serious review, with the end goal of enhancing
it's over all effectiveness to provide coordinated
CnC to the Management Group., and to everyone down
the line, to enhance their ability to keep eveyone
on the same page, and get the needed aid to survivors
as expeditiously as possible...
But i'm talking before the dust even settles. I'm not pointing fingers..there's time enough fr that later...
I'm no whiney pee-in-my-pants blubbering Democrat.
