"Either the Cheneys are coming or a lot of people have bad information, the Post reported, adding that Police Chief Ed Henry - one of Hurley's breakfast mates - even referred to the place in question as "Cheney's house." "
Whoever is there now needs to, "GET OUT OF CHENEY'S HOUSE!"
Jesse Jackson would see this as further proof of the value of acculturation. Wouldn't want anyone to move to far from "where they belong."
Jesse likes to keep folks in their place, you know.
Going there this Friday for lunch with friends who live in Denton. Looking forward to seeing & experiencing the Maryland coast.
I used to live in Denton.
Keep in mind there's no coast there, except for the banks of the Choptank; It's an hour's drive to the beach from Denton :-).
Where is the rest of his body going to be?
NOW NOW be nice that don't encourage DC chapter of the Freepers LOL!
St. Michael's is probably the nicest town on the entire Eastern Shore; for the most part it is very expensive, but there is a crab house on the road in from Easton (it's the first restaurant on the left) that has awesome seafood and great prices.
We're doing lunch in St Michaels and spending a few hours sightseeing. Visiting old friends from college for the day. The weekend will be spent getting to know our daughter's future in-laws.
Is this the Denton where the ' Rocky Horror Show " opening wedding scene was filmed ??
Yep !! Same size crabs they serve on the dock at 1/3 price . All you can eat also !!
We all know that could never happen at the WashPost.
Maybe algore can get a place on the Eastern Shore, and they can be neighbors?
This must be the place they're taking us. Told them "nothing fancy". We just want to enjoy the company and local fare!
The WashPost? hmmmmm? Let me think. Sorta rings a bell.
My mother's side of the family was from Denton.
The great food we had on regular visits there remains legendary in the family, especially the summer vegetables.
I always figured that was Denton Texas - hard to tell which Denton's the "Home of Happiness" like it says in the film!
Our friends moved out there about 25 years ago. We were in college back in the early 70's and lost track of each other. Reconnected in May by a mutual friend.
They serve port wine cheese and crackers at the beginning. My wife and I ate there a year ago, she had filet mignon and I had lobster stuffed with crab imperial, the whole meal with tip was under $60.
