This just touches on the tip of the iceberg which has become a nation wide shame of bad behaviour, I'm afraid.

Some of the Black mothers are some of the best around, especially those with strong personalities. I have seen some pretty strong dads too. But two often a dad is absent in the home.

I wouldn't your question in any way. You totally missed the point. I wasn't talking about the sin nature that is inherent in all people. All individuals choose on a daily basis whether to do good or evil - in small and large things. Greed knows no race or socio-economic status. My point was that there is a subclass of people that are immune to the strictures in civilized society. Frankly, I'd rather be stuck in the Astro Dome with a white collar criminal any day over a crack-selling thug. Think about it Mabel.

I'm more than acquainted with how to deal with threats of violence.

My point was that I have never witnessed the level of thug culture I witnessed in black culture proportionately represented in white or even most latino culture or society and neither would it be tolerated to the same degree.

We did have white hooligans...sorta the equivalent of Brit soccer thugs but they were a small feral bunch.

I am 47, raised in Mississippi....the "blackest" state in the country. I have lived in Manhattan, Miami, Jamaica, Brasil, Haiti and Sierra Leone.

These are observances.

I have also noticed wheras white supremacist ideas in the US have declined markedly since my youth that the aforementioned black thug culture and their enablers foster anti-white hatred.

What happened in New Orleans...the ugly stuff sure didn't surprise me.
I hoped this would give folks a reckoning but apparently not.

Even on this austere conservative forum, there is much equivocating and relativism.

Did I miss somewhere that whites are attacking blacks during this cataclysm?

I think you can understand why some whites loath blacks.

I believe the reverse is exponentially more true....until you get to older folks.

Call it the not-so-soft bigotry of low expectations, WD.

By not expecting - no, DEMANDING - that people act with a modicum of humanity (let alone some emm-effing CLASS), we foretell the self-fulfilling prophecy that they will devolve into lowest-common-denominator behavior.

They should be insulted by the hand-wringing expectation that they'd behave this way. THIS is the attitude that really fosters class differences...the "Oh, well. THOSE people don't know any better" attitude.

People who engage in sub-human behavior need to be TREATED like they are not human. Vicious animals - those that attack humans - are typically destroyed. Put that policy into effect - summarily waste a couple of thugs in a very loud, dramatic, and grotesque manner...betcha the herd will fall into line.
