I have a masters in Political Science and am a retired USG bureaucrat with 36 years of service. I understand the way the "basic US government" works and how it is set up. I also understand the corporate culture, which is more concerned about turf and control than achieving a common objective. Chertoff and Brown are lawyers. They are all about process.
