Democratic view- Why, it has been a week. Why did it take so long to get this to these people.
They don't like black people. If they had been white the supplies would have been here days ago. I want an investigation. They knew days ago, where has that plane been all this time.
Republican view- Good going. The country is really coming together. People from all walks of life are giving to help these people.

Easy now, he and his wife are doing what 99% of Hollywood is NOT doing.... Have you notice that when push comes to shove you will notice that some among the Hollywood crowd realizes that helping others in desperate time of need is good for everyone around? I applaud Travolta using his private 707-138B to bring down five tons of relief supplies, and Oprah Winfrey is using her influence to get a massive relief effort going, too.
Meanwhile, you have clueless people like Kayne West, who made an a** of himself with that uncalled-for remarks during last Friday's concert on NBC, and Sean Penn's photo-op boat trip that promptly went awry....

The sean penn thing ( I wont waste capitals on the likes of penn) was pure comedy. Check out his portrayal in the movie, Team America. Just make sure there are no kids around!

Meanwhile he's promoting $cientology. He is wearing a tee shirt for crying out loud! Give it a freaking rest, unless you want to provide some links which attest to Travolta refusing to release the supplies he brought unless given the opportunity to convert the heathen masses. Sheesh.

Travolta, an experienced pilot, flew the supplies in his own private jet to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Which jet did he fly? His 707? That could hold lots of supplies.
