There are rapidly becoming two branches of Episopalians,
AAC (American Anlican Council) --- very conservative.
ECUSA ---- gay bishop, et al
Not sure which branch the National Catherdral is.
You've got to be kidding, right? National Cathedral is as liberal, pro-homo, PC, left-wing, pantheistic Piskie as they come.
The conservative Anglican movement in this country is still small and struggling to get off the ground. If you have evidence to the contrary that would lead you to believe they might have captured the Washington National Cathedral, why do tell.
Very ECUSA!!! The National Cathedral is among the worst.
It's liberal. I was there once and the sermon was anti-Bush and anti-war. It was very offensive. I'll never worship there again, EVER.

I had heard they were of the " Skip to the Loo " branch.
unfortunately, it is the second (and very much so).
Pity, too, as it is an amazing piece of architecture. And the grounds are incredible.
The very, very liberal one. I sang at a service there last spring and was appalled.
