Dobbs spent considerable time blasting Blanco and Nagin regarding the lack of buses to evacuate and failure to implement the evacuation plan that they had rehearsed. Brought up that NO BUSES were deployed either in previous hurricanes. Showed video of Blanco after Ivan saying " They would do better nect time". Yeah, right.
I wrote Lou off a long time ago.

He actually gave Jessie Jackson the full business yesterday, challenging him on his race baiting.

Yea, and they even said that the mayor promised a year ago "after they had a disaster drill" to fix the problem of evacuating 200,000 people !
Lou Dobbs is a true believer, I might not always agree with his politics, but he isn't a media whore.

Lou Dobbs and others like him cannot wiggle when something as obvious as the fact that no buses were deployed in front of a cat 5 hurricane, especially when there are plenty of photos showing this negligence. He even put up the photo.

I flipped on CNN just in time to catch Lou Dobbs blasting Nagin and BlankoJerko...with video clips of them! I had to check my TV to be sure this was CNN. Kudos to Dobbs!
What will Anderson Cooper do now?
This is telling. Lou is certainly no stranger to criticizing Bush. So the fact that he is not doing so in this case, means to me that Nagin and "Blank-o" are beyond incompetent.
They also showed a clip where they used the Super Dome during hurricane Ivan and there were many rapes and murders then as well.
But facts: Bush had to call the governor personally and insist she evacuate NO. 1/3 of the NO police force fled. The mayor failed to mobilize any city resources to evacuate those without cars. The governor refused to authorize the feds to come in.
