Well. she did make one decision and stick to it. Don't let in the Red Cross,or FEMA,! We don't want these people to be fed or have water !CAUSE IF THEY'RE TOO COMFORTABLE THEY MIGHT STAY.Better to starve and dehydrate them to death and have them move on.That's one decision she has stuck to, to this day!

And a fine decision it was. The last thing you want to do is attract people to shelters during a cat 5 hurricane and massive flooding. You have to ensure that the conditions in the shelters are so unpleasant that people will prefer to stay in safe places like on rooftops and in trees. And, most of all, its critical to secure all city owned vehicles so that only city employees with proper union credentials will be able to drive them.
Hmmm...I'm no fan of Blanko, but she does know the people of NO. They are now content to stay in the Astrodome and do not want to leave for other states because they are "comfortable." Making professional freeloaders comfortable is no way to get rid of them.
